Manager of Quality and Performance Excellence, University Health Center Amelia Ross is a quality improvement and health equity leader serving as Manager of Quality and Health Equity at the University of Georgia’s Joint Commission–accredited University Health Center. In this role, she leads institutional strategy related to performance improvement, patient safety, workforce development, and equitable access to care across a multidisciplinary ambulatory health system. A graduate of UGA’s Women’s and Gender Studies program, Amelia integrates feminist and intersectional frameworks into her leadership approach, advancing initiatives that address health disparities, health-related social needs, and inclusive campus well-being. She mentors undergraduate and graduate students in applied public health research and serves as Staff Advisor to the Student Health Advisory Committee. Amelia is a Certified Professional in Clinical Health Equity and an active national leader in college health administration. Her scholarly and professional work centers on building equitable student health systems, advancing belonging in clinical spaces, and strengthening the intersection of academia, policy, and practice.
