A.B. in Women's Studies

Women's Studies studentsAt The University of Georgia, Women’s Studies is an interdisciplinary program offering a wide variety of classes both in women’s studies and through cross-listed departments around campus. Majoring in women’s studies can enhance a student’s career preparation by increasing the understanding of social diversity, giving students an international and interdisciplinary perspective, equipping students with critical and analytical skills, and providing a background and understanding of women and the role they play in the public and private sectors.

Minor in Women's Studies

Students in any school or college of the University may minor in Women’s Studies. After enrolling with the program advisor, a student must file a Declaration of Minor form with her/his school or college; upon finishing the minor, s/he must also file a Minor Completion Form.
